Rebooting is Bad

There are lots of Reasons Why Rebooting is Bad.  The first reason is that you lose all your work unless you save. Where memory is audience memory you must not forget to save.  So that's the first reason.  The second reason is that parents still don't die soon enough, despite the best efforts of your marketing departments to trigger strokes by quietly eliciting the braying pleas of the children come Christmas for that latest iteration of that line of that world of that toy and so on.   We all love Christmas of course, but let's be honest we don't, and the hypnoadvertising of the toy/movie companies homogenising our kids' lives are not to blame, we are.  Well, you are. I wasn't stupid enough to have kids of my own.   Now my misplaced overbearing love must be transferred on to yours, however average they may be. Another reason why reboots are bad is that reboots are almost always bad.  Only those suffering from Erythropoietic Protop...

Where did it all go wrong?

The Good What happened to 2-time Academy Award winner Denzel?  I reserve the right to use his first name, of course, having been his Biggest Fan for many years with the certification to prove it.  He, acting god, Sexiest Man Alive 1996, one of the few A-listers who seemed to have integrity for the role he chose.  He of Malcolm X, and Glory. He of Man on Fire which is surely the most satisfying revenge story of recent Hollywood yore.  Even The Equalizer was interesting enough to stay on point in terms of Mr.Washington's career.  So how soon did it all go wrong after that?  The exact time may be debted, but the fact of it remains, Denzel Washington has been in a downturn move-quality rise for nearly a decade. The Bad My first case for the prosecution has to be the god-awfully embarrassing mess-of-scriptless-tropes-jumbled-in a-meaningless-mess that is the ill-judged remake The Magnificent Seven 2016. With a story so simple, infinite monkeys would o...

While becoming ever more trendy around the world, there are still many parents and certainly grandparents who would not approve of a permanent mark. Maybe this is good, surely it's true that a permanent mark, no matter how stylish, cannot remain always as trend-setting as it was when first inked. PURCHASE HENNA PRODUCTS Fortunately, there is the henna option for those of us who value the femininity of a beautiful design but aren't ready to risk the ire of our older relatives with such a long-term commitment. Henna will last from a week to a month, depending on the oil content of your skin, and if you're as creative as you are fashionable there is the option of Mehndi designs. These intricately beautiful patterns arrive like a breath of Eastern promise refreshing your look and reflecting your...
